Detailed introduction
Meihui Tile Adhesive Type II is an upgraded version of tile adhesive, made from adhesive materials, silicate cement, and additives, featuring high strength, a balance of rigidity and flexibility, and no hollowing.
Scope of application:
1. Suitable for bonding tiles of 30cm-60cm, with good scraping effect on both sides.
2. Suitable for indoor wall bonding with a water absorption rate greater than 0.5%, and for decorative tiles smaller than 30cmX45cm.
3. Can be used in conjunction with tile adhesive companion for tiling on tiles.
Construction instructions:
1. Construction environment temperature: 5℃-30℃.
2. Mix the powder into clean water to form a paste, using an electric mixer to blend until there are no lumps, and let it sit for about 5 minutes before use.
3. The mixing ratio is 20kg of tile adhesive to about 4.6L of water; the ratio of tile adhesive to water can be adjusted according to the substrate, weather, and construction site.
4. Do not construct in rainy or snowy weather, or at low temperatures.
5. The mixed adhesive should be used within 3 hours; do not add water for secondary mixing, and do not add water to already cured adhesive for construction.
6. After tiling, wait for the adhesive to completely cure for at least 24 hours before proceeding to the next grouting step.
7. When adhering tiles to walls, ensure temporary fixing measures are in place.
8. Usage instructions: 3.5kg-7kg per square meter, depending on the substrate and tiles.
Recommended construction method using a notched trowel:
1. Use a notched trowel to spread the adhesive evenly on the working surface, forming notches, applying about 1 square meter at a time, depending on the climate temperature, then press the tiles onto it during the waiting time.
2. The size of the notched trowel should consider the size of the tiles, the flatness of the working surface, and the unevenness of the tile backs.
3. If the grooves on the back of the tiles are deep or the tiles are large and heavy, double-sided adhesive application should be performed, applying adhesive on both the working surface and the back of the tiles.
Construction precautions:
1. Ensure the substrate is solid, free of oil, hollow spots, wax stains, release agents, and other loose materials; surfaces that have been painted should be roughened.
2. The bonding surface of the tiles should be clean and dust-free; spray water during construction.
3. Concrete surfaces should be cured for at least 28 days before tiling; newly plastered surfaces should be cured for at least 7 days before tiling to ensure substrate strength.
4. Old concrete and plaster surfaces can be cleaned with industrial detergents, then rinsed thoroughly with high-pressure water before construction.
5. For substrates with high water absorption or in high-temperature, dry environments, spray water to moisten before construction.
6. Store the product in a cool, dry, and ventilated place; this product is non-toxic, harmless, non-flammable, and non-corrosive, and can be transported as ordinary goods. For product standards, production date, batch number, inspector, and shelf life, refer to the certificate of conformity.
