1: The putty base requires a smooth surface, and after spraying, it should be dense and of uniform color;
2: The mortar joints should be horizontal and vertical, with consistent width and narrowness. Special attention should be paid when tearing off the dividing tape to avoid removing the underlying coating. It is recommended to remove the tape 30 minutes after the mid-coat is completed, when it is dry to the touch but not fully cured.
3: When constructing stone-like paint, the long side should be aligned with the short side at the corners and during the division calculation to create the visual effect of a solid brick wall.
4: It is advisable to use paper tape for the division; paper tape has good adhesion to stone-like paint. If plastic tape is used, it may cause the mid-coat to run. Additionally, during summer construction, the tape should have good temperature resistance to avoid melting on the back due to slightly high temperatures, making it difficult to remove the tape.
5: It is recommended to procure stone-like paint in one batch for the same construction site to reduce slight color differences from different batches of paint.
