Hello everyone! I am Wu Chuwei from Shaodong, Hunan. It is an honor to participate in this year's 315 conference with all of you and share about the cross-industry alliance.
I have been in the paint industry in Shaodong for a long time, but I have only been involved with Meihui for about four years. During these four years, I have achieved a small success and received recognition from the company. Last year, the company held its annual meeting in Shaodong. To be honest, by holding this annual meeting, I also benefited a bit, making the Meihui brand well-known in Shaodong, especially in the building materials industry.
I believe many distributors have visited Sicheng Door Industry in Shaodong last year. Sicheng Door Industry has been around for many years locally and has a good reputation. This alliance came about by chance. The year before last, Sicheng Door Industry upgraded its showroom, and the owner wanted to present the doors in a more high-end way, so he hired a designer to help with the upgrade. Coincidentally, this designer had some connections with me, and he recommended me to the owner. I had a chat with the owner, and the cross-industry alliance began.
Although I helped Sicheng Door Industry showcase for free, I also received many orders during the showcasing process, and the results were very obvious. A customer who saw the stone texture paint effect at Sicheng Door Industry said: "The feel of Meihui's stone texture paint is different from other brands; it feels very comfortable to the touch."
In Shaodong, there are at least ten brands of exterior wall paint. Meihui has built a good reputation, and the order volume is slightly higher than the local average. After we signed contracts, many peers tried to poach our orders, but the quality of Meihui stands out, and the owners ultimately chose Meihui. The owners said, "I trust the quality of Meihui and also trust Old Wu's character."
Since the success of the cross-industry alliance, many store managers from other brands like doors and windows have actively called me to discuss cooperation, alliances, and resource sharing.
When we conduct business, we initially let the door and window industry run the business, and when the owners have exterior wall needs, we casually mention Meihui without being too deliberate. Later, if they send me their WeChat and address, I can go talk to them, which will be much more effective. For example, with the two owners I talked to this year, when I arrived, they asked me which brand I was working with. I said Meihui. They replied, "I know Meihui; your advertisements are everywhere here, and your annual meeting was held in Shaodong last year."
Building a reputation step by step is also a help for us.
Our current task is to continue developing the cross-industry alliance, and to focus on it. Because they can help us promote. We can collaborate with major brands in bathrooms, central air conditioning, etc. The more they help us push orders, we can also give them a little subsidy, as they are also considered our members. After all, we have saved on salespeople.
