6. Analysis and treatment plan for water seepage at the high and low corners of the roof and the root of the chimney

6.1 Accident characteristics

The waterproof layer of the roof of the roof is not standardized and the concrete is cracked. The rain enters the room from the gap.

6.2 Cause analysis

(1) The female corners of the high and low cross-roof and chimney joints are not arcs as specified, and the waterproof layer is not set properly.

(2) The waterproof layer is not turned up as required, or the waterproof layer is placed on the paint. When the paint layer is cracked, rainwater enters the room from the crack.

(3) The height of the chimney of the chimney hood is too high (180mm), and the rain directly enters the interior from the flue when it encounters oblique wind and rain.

6.3 Processing method

(1) Cut the high-rise outer wall flour brush layer by 20-50mm.

(2) The head of the “JS” waterproof coating is buried in the seam, and then the polymer waterproof mortar is used for painting, and the corner is drawn into a circular arc with a radius of 50 mm.

6.4 preventive measures

(1) At the intersection of the high and low cross-roofing, a plain concrete upturned beam with a height of 250 is set, and the concrete of the low-span structural roof is poured at one time.

(2) Set the surface of the structural board directly to the surface of the Meihui waterproof coating, with a height of not less than 250mm.

(3) In the high and low corners of the roof, the gables of the gable and the root of the chimney, the polymer waterproof mortar is used to draw a circular arc with a radius of 50mm, as detailed (Figure 5).

(4) The chimney hood air deflector height is lowered to 120mm.

6.5 quality control

The upper sill beam must be poured once with the low-span structure roof.
