Problems in paint construction and treatment measures

First, how to prevent paint from falling?

The phenomenon that the paint is dripping, drooping, and uneven film on the surface of the base layer is called the paint fall. The main reasons are:

(1) The paint is too thin, the adhesion is poor, and some of the paint is flowing under the action of gravity.

(2) The painting or painting is too heavy, and the paint film is too heavy to fall.

(3) The temperature of the construction environment is too low and the paint film is dry slowly.

(4) The paint contains too much heavy pigment and some paint droops.

(5) The surface of the base layer of the object is not flat, the thickness of the paint film is not uniform, the drying speed is different, the speed of the paint film is different, and the portion where the paint film is too thick is easy to fall.

(6) The surface of the substrate has oil, water and other contaminants that are incompatible with the paint, which affects the adhesion and causes the paint film to sag.

The following measures can be taken to prevent paint from falling:

(1) Select a good quality paint and a diluent with a proper evaporation rate, and control the amount of the mixture.

(2) The surface of the object should be smooth and smooth, and clean the surface oil, water and other pollutants.

(3) The temperature of the construction environment should meet the standard requirements of the type of paint. For example, the varnish should be 20 to 27 degrees and painted within 3 hours.

(4) When painting, it should be carried out according to the process procedure: first vertical, horizontal, oblique, and finally the paint is leveled vertically, so that the coating thickness of the paint is uniform.

(5) The speed of the spray gun when painting and the distance from the object should be controlled evenly. According to the specified process procedure, the vertical spray, the circumferential spray, and the lateral spray, make the paint film uniform and uniform.

Second, how to prevent the surface of the paint film from being rough?

Many users have reported that after the film is formed into a film, the surface is not flat, and there are sand-like bumps or small bubbles.

There are several reasons for this phenomenon:

(1) The paint contains too much pigment or the particles are too thick.

(2) The paint itself is not clean, mixed with debris, and used without screening.

(3) The ambient temperature during the mixing of the paint is low, and the bubbles in the paint are not completely discharged.

(4) The surface of the object is not cleaned, there are sand and other debris, and it is mixed into the paint film when brushing.

(5) The used utensils (brushes, paint buckets, spray guns, etc.) are unclean, and residual chores are brought into the paint.

(6) The construction environment is not cleaned and protected. There are dust, wind and sand and other debris stuck to the brush or falling on the paint film.

To prevent the surface of the paint film from being rough, the following measures can be taken:

(1) Select a good quality paint, which must be sieved before use, evenly adjusted, and used without bubbles.

(2) The surface of the object is cleaned, keeping it flat, smooth and dry.

(3) Reasonably arrange the construction sequence of each type of work to ensure that the construction environment of the paint is free of debris and dust.

(4) It is not allowed to reuse the equipment that has been used in different types and performances. If necessary, the residue should be cleaned and used.

3. Why does the paint surface wrinkle?

Stripes and moiré sometimes appear after the film is formed. The main reasons are:

(1) The quality of the paint is not good, the drier is too much, and the solvent evaporates too quickly.

(2) The paint is unevenly distributed or too thick.

(3) The paint film is too thick and uneven.

(4) Construction under high temperature or hot sun exposure.

The following precautions can be taken:

(1) Select a good quality paint, do not add driers at random, and strictly control the consistency of the paint.

(2) Use a hard brush, the brush should be even, the thickness is consistent.

(3) Avoid construction under high temperature or hot sun.

Fourth, how to prevent latex paint, acrylate paint cracking, peeling?

The paint film is broken into small pieces and floated up from the object surface, and gradually falls. This is called cracking and peeling.

The main reason is:

(1) The surface is poor, the surface has oily substances, the foundation is not cleaned, and the adhesion after conjunctiva is not good.

(2) The coating is over-diluted, the surface is too smooth, the coating film is too thin after coating, the adhesion is not good, and cracking and peeling occurs.

(3) Putting the putty on the cement plastering surface without brushing the oil, the paint will make the large film roll up and fall. Because the oil absorption of the bottom layer of the unwashed oil is strong, the oil of the putty and the paint of each layer is absorbed by the bottom layer and is reduced, so that the paint is easily deteriorated and becomes brittle after being formed into a film.

(4) If the primer is not dry, apply the surface coating. When the base is dry and shrink, the surface coating will crack.

(5) The quality of the coating is not good, and there are too many resin and colloidal components in the coating, which is easy to be brittle after film formation.

(6) The base layer is not dry

The following measures can be taken:

(1) Remove impurities from the base oil, the base layer should be smooth, flat and dry, and the water content should not exceed 10.

(2) The base layer to be cleaned must not be neglected, especially on the surface of cement. It must be cleaned and then putty putty.

(3) Pay attention to the proper resin and gel composition in the paint. After the primer is dry, brush the paint.

5. How to prevent the wood grain of the lacquer lacquer from being unclear?

Brushing varnish is currently more popular in the decoration of wooden doors and fine wood products. The most common quality problem of varnish is that the wood grain has different shades and the wood grain is blurred. The main reasons for this consequence are:

(1) The paint storage time is too long, the operation is not evenly stirred, the color is precipitated, the upper part is shallow, and the lower part is deep.

(2) The material of the wood is different, and the coloration is different. The hard wood is not easy to be colored, and the soft wood is easy to be colored.

(3) The paint bristles used are too hard or too soft, and the repeated paintings are dark in color.

The following precautions can be taken:

(1) Stir frequently when using paint to prevent uneven coloration caused by precipitation.

(2) According to different materials, different painting methods should be used to bleach the surface of dark wood, and the light color should be dyed to make the color uniform and uniform.

(3) Apply with a suitable paint brush, and the operation should be accurate and rapid.

6. Why is the paint film not bright after drying?

Normal paint surface should be bright and smooth (except matt paint), but some paint surface will be reversed, that is, the surface of the paint film will be dull after drying, or a layer of rubber will condense on the paint film (sometimes blue) Glorious). The reason is:

(1) The paint quality is not good or too much diluent is added, and the consistency is large, so that the gloss of the paint film is not durable.

(2) The time of painting is not well mastered, and the primer is not dried to paint, so that the primer is soft and tarnished.

(3) The surface of the object is uneven, rough or the surface is inconsistent, causing the coating film to lose its luster.

(4) The construction environment is not good, the temperature is too low or smoked to make the coating film tarnish.

(5) The humidity of the construction environment is too large (relative humidity 80 or more). The volatile paint film absorbs moisture and becomes white and loses its luster.

Take the following precautions:

(1) Choose a good quality paint, and do not add any diluent.

(2) The surface of the base layer should be putty, smooth and smooth.

(3) It must be painted and dried after the paint is dried.

(4) Choose a good construction environment, and it is not suitable for construction under humid and smog conditions.

(5) When applying volatile paint, it should be carried out in an environment with a relative humidity of 60 to 70.
